We live where it's like this in the winter.
It can get pretty chilly, but most days are sunny and nice. You see people dressed in a wide range of clothing, from sensible long sleeves and jeans to this:
It rarely dips below freezing and we never get snow. So we decided to drive to the snow for a day of snow play.
It was awesome!
We sped downhill on plastic saucers.
Adam even slid down by himself. Like this:
We built a tall snowman.
And a snow fort.
And hucked a lot of snow at each other.
And when we were done, we peeled off our snow boots, mittens, hats, coats, and bibs, and came back home.

Looks like tons of fun! Where did you go?
That sounds like so much fun! I have been thinking about snow experiences for Eve when she is older. California, like Arizona, just doesn't supply.
